Nice guide by the way^^ but the build you gave me do you think I could downgrade the i5 2400 to an i3 2120 to save a couple bucks for a game to play!

Yep. And I'd also pair it with this board instead: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Although the Extreme4 will have a better upgrade path.

That saves a heap of money thanks though for previous builds and do you think it will run guild wars 2 or crysis 2 on high and above at playable fps

Yes to both of those.

A quick question my friend says that I won't be able to run a sapphire Radeon hd 7850 2gb because my CPU and motherboard won't be powerful enough what do you think stay with the card or choose a less expensive card?

Nope, he's fortunately wrong again. The i3 will not bottleneck a 7850, but the i5 was a good choice for GW2. CPU is more important in that game than most. It will run fine with the 7850 and i3, though.

Hello! I am currently in the market for a new graphics card for around $100 but I can easily go up to $200 if needed. I just got into pc gaming so I need a card that can run any game I need it to I am on a pre-built Lenovo 7752 With 6gm ram and a shitty processor :3 (I think it's a Intel penium) Oh yeah and if this is important I'm using a tv as a moniter :3

--Parts List--
Case: Corsair Carbide 400R
Mobo: ASUS M5A78L-M LX AM3+ Socket
PSU: Corsair CX500 V2 80+ Certified
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5
CPU: AMD FX Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Quad Core
RAM: 8GB DDR3 G.Skil Ripjaws Series
HDD: 500GB Seagate 7200 RPM Drive

Would this be good for around $500? I'm hoping to run GW2 and BF3 on high-highest settings at around 40+ FPS. Because this is my first PC build, I'm not sure if I should get a cheaper PC first, or just get the best I can get. Also, could you recommend A monitor, keyboard, and mouse?(Note: This is not my list of parts. Make any necessary modifications if needed.)

if you're going to go AMD, I never recommend it unless the budget is $500-. Which in this case it is. I won't comment on anything but the CPU, get the AMD phenom ii 965 BE, bests the FX series and is an awesome value.

I know r00t b33r answered this question before but I have finished building my pc and I was wondering what monitor I should use:

21.5 inch monitor

Or

32 inch monitor

The 32 is my tv but I just have a 21.5 laying around tht I'm not using but I don't know what would be a better gaming experience
