I got the Samsung Galaxy, and im wondering what are some cool apps, live wallpapers, or anything fun to do to your phone. Im new to Android and i need to learn from the best Android users here on TTG!
And what is rooting and could i do it to my phone? Im guessing its like Jailbreaking a iOS device. But please help me out guys thanks!

Its The Samsung Galaxy Proclaim from Straight Talk. Its really nice and it runs on verizon towers!

Go to the play store(market) and download 4shared. Create an account and search for a game that cost. Also go to setting and go to applications make it where you can download non market apps. When you search for game make sure it says .apk at the end and download that one.

Go to the Play Store and download an app called Zedge. It has a multitude of Wallpapers, Ringtones, and Message tones that you can download for FREE! And it is always being updated with stuff people upload to it. Another app to download would be a security app like Lookout Security Mobile (scans apps you download to make sure there is no malware/spyware, and has a locator so if you lose your phone you can find it.)

You can get AppRedeem on the play store if you want to make some money. You can also get instagram and facebook.
