Budget: around $100, no more then $150(US dollars)

Music preference: Mostly dubstep and progressive house. Some rock here and there

Type / form factor and portability: Id prefer over ear (like solrepublic's Track's HD) and im going to be using them during school, so a little bit or portability, while still looking cool.

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Closed, i love bass.

Source(s): Listening with my Android deevice (HTC Evo 3D) and my laptop.

Extra: (just added this ) im already considering the Tracks HD from solrepublic, but id like some more choices.

Sol headphones are pretty bad, unfortunately. They shouldn't be on your list at all.

I'm assuming you want an on-ear headphone. Check out the Philips Citiscape Downtown, the AKG K181DJ, and the California Headphones Laredo which you can get here:

The Aiaiai TMA-1 is also a good option if you can find it for within your budget.

Hi mate, may I get your opinion on these, they were recommended to me for good quality along with not looking ugly. I don't want to fall victim to buy some nice ish looking one that sound like trash

99% of the time the reviews you read for headphones like this are just completely uninformed. You don't even need to review these to know there's a Laurentian Trench in the mids, which mucks up the sound big time.

Review is here, from someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Great cans, but know what you're getting. They use an open design, so all sound will get in and out. If you want something that looks as good as it sounds, these are a steal right now:

They use a closed design and have great isolation.

Good if you're after something REALLY bassy. Great build quality and looks.

The M80s are not nearly as bass-heavy as the LP, you'd like the Aiaiai TMA-1 more.

I probably would, but those are too much for me at the moment, If i had some more cash, i'd get them, but im going to go with the Crossfade LP's. Thanks for the recommendations though! I'd actually go with the California's that you recommended earlier if they had a detachable cable.
