You've got to be joking, that makes absolutely no sense. If RAM speeds matter, run the Samsung kit at 2133. Easy.

All these GPGPU and processor-intensive tasks and you're getting a 2500K? Wut.

Good luck using that mouse lefty.

Didn't sound like a joke to me. This whole durability thing is ridiculous, too. These are stationary parts.

they are not stationary, the HDD and SSD will be more than likely floating around between this and my workstation. This won't be my true work computer, I'll probably use it for Open GL rendering and split it between my work station over night. I'm upgrading my 2500k anyways because I found a steal for my 6 monitor system. Going to go to the i7-3820. I'm undecided on my mobo at the moment though.
