He's my friends clans hoster and he also recovered and helped out all my friends so what i think ill do is go on skype and go into a chat with him thanks for the advice guys

A good thing to do is to change your Windows Live ID linked with your XBL account just before you give your account details, this will stop the guy doing the Recovery changing your email therefore making your account more secure. But make sure the password for your Windows Live ID is different to your hotmail password or he will sign into your hotmail and change the Windows Live ID password as well as the hotmail password giving him easy access to your XBL account.
