For some reason, most of the games I get into online lags really bad, I walk forward and a lag spike will come in and move me back and its doing it consistently every 3/4 seconds. I know it isn't my connection before anyone says it is. I can play with bots, with other people fine, I have done a few scrims without any problems so my only conclusion is that the matchmaking is messed up for some people, I just want to know is there any way to resolve this? I know the game has just come out, no harm in making a post to see if anyone knows how to help. Thanks for reading.

Before you say BUT COD WORKS JUST FINE. Open your ports try to see if your internet has something making it lag. Like a auto update on a computer? Check your speed [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] any lower than 2MB/s i would not recommend .

Every other game online works fine and I get 7mb download speed. It's not my connection.

Your not the only one lagging in game i am aswell. I have fine internet but on here public games are pretty bad i dont know if it's just like this today or something since it just came out.

I have never lagged than again im with virgin media and im sure xbox recomenend them a couple off years ago when halo 3 came out?

So do i and i have fine connection....


They cant make a game where only people with good connection can play it on xbox. Like Wtf, also they would lose money.

A) The game just came out, so there will be connection issues for the first week or so.

B) I only notice lag during the night time, when there is more of a heavy concentration of players on at one time. When I play during the day, Im perfectly fine.

I just can't play this game.
Every time I try to walk,the awful lag pushes me back,I can't leave the spawn,and if I try to shoot someone the game freezes for 2-3 seconds and I find myself dead.
I'm f***ing angry,this game is unplayable.

the game has only just come out it will be like this for the first couple f weeks then it will be fine

I Found this out yesterday.
This is for people who can't leave the spawn because of lag and can't select a weapon. This may not work for you but worked for me, give it a try.
1. Play a private match online by yourself or with friends.
2. After that games over head over to quick match.
3. Boom, no lag online
