it say "System Link Patched"

It means you have the required firmware to system link to another retail, if I am correct..

It just means that the ping limit is lifted so you can system link with your friends using xlink or something.

Please correct me if I'm wrong tho lol.

So you don't think it will in anyway affect me from doing system link lobbies?
Im not one of those kids that buys a jtag just for that.. I alreadly own one
But I honestly dont know what this means, and I wuld like to be able to system link

It won't effect you, only help you, like someone said it allows you to play games online via system link like xlink Kai and Xbs (free Xbox live alternatives with hardly anyone on it).

It will not effect your system link/infections.

They are correct. Probably when FSD was installed, they flashed the ping patch. Most retail xboxes require a very low ping time for system link games. It patches the ping time out with a very high time, which allows you to play on xlink kai or other gaming networks. When you play on those, you would look for system link matches. It will in no way affect your ability to do system link with a retail box in your home.
