So I am a Colonel in Halo 3 and I was wondering if my multiplayer stats transfer to Halo 4 or do you restart from level 1 like in Call of Duty games? Any help will receive rep, thank you!

I am very sure you restart seeing how it's a whole new game. The ranking system is somewhat different I believe as well. I am 99.9% sure you restart. It would be a touch unfair to those that haven't played the other Halos. They want you playing the new game so I am sure they start you off at the beginning so you want to play and unlock more stuff. Most people would quit faster if they weren't unlocking things.
