okay so my jtag came in today and it turns on and the xbox images come up but then when i plug my 120GB hard drive in my Jtag turns on but the xbox images dont come up ! If you can help that would be great! THANK YOU !!!!

It's a little hard to understand what your saying, but I'll guess when you say image you mean the xbox logo when it boots up?
Try unplugging and plugging in the harddrive again, make sure it's properly connected.
Maybe the harddrive in the casing is a different harddrive, and it's loose.
Worst case scenario the harddrive is broken.

okay yeah i tryed all that it is making me so mad i just paid 100 $ for the harddrive And thanks for the tips

use a cotton bud and put some alcohol on it or nail varnish remover and dab it onto the contact points and make sure you dry them before trying it again, the contact points will probably be dirty or being jammed
