xEcliptics wrote They've completely changed the sandbox once again.
Everybody has sprint now as well as an armor ability.
People spawn with different weapons. (classes)
The BR is now a piece of ****.

The difference between Halo and CoD adding news guns is that new guns in Halo are usually nothing like anything else in the sandbox but when CoD adds a new gun, there's nothing that really sets it apart from the others guns except its name and what it looks like.

You have to be retarded. Halo is set in 2500 so they can make up ANY type of weapon they want. COD is limited to weapons that actually exist, don't do such a dumb comparison.

Halo Reach was good though. Not the best in tthe series but it was still fun.

And Reach certainly was as good as Halo 3.

-------------
Anyways, the only 'Revolutionary' Halo Games IMO were Halo CE and Halo 2, that's it. Not even Halo 3, although I thought it was an outstanding game and it definitely wasn't Halo Wars (even though it's the best selling Console RTS game it was just another game), ODST or Reach.

Bungie changed the feel of Halo in Reach if you're comparing it to Halo 3. They did these small things that effected the gameplay like -
  • Lowered Jump Height
  • Lowered Walking Speed
  • Made the Banshee OP
  • Made the Vehicles less Powerful
  • Added Armor Abilities (Not really 'small')
  • Slower Shield Recharge rate
  • Added Health Packs
  • Loadouts
  • Bloom
  • GRENADES

and most importantly they didn't work on a great ranking system that made a majority of the fans happy..

You could easily tell a difference between Halo Games, a lot of things play differently, for better or for worse. In Call of Duty, not really..

Now as for the changes from Reach - Halo 4? Besides the new game modes (ex - Spartan Ops) and everything else you said we can't speak of (Join in Progress, etc.) I'm not sure.. if you're comparing Halo 4 to Halo 3, then there are a lot of things to discuss.

In the original post I said
Before I start, I realize you Halo fanboys are about as ignorant and closed minded as a COD fanboy, so don't post on here if you are a Halo fanboy or COD fanboy

And you're telling me COD 2 to COD 4 didn't change anything? Go away fanboy.
So you're just going to blatantly ignore the answer to your original question?

P.S -
I've never played COD 2 and Call of Duty 3, so how the hell should I know if they've changed anything, they most likely didn't since it was Call of Duty 4 that changed stuff out of the games in the Call of Duty Series. I never heard any Call of Duty 2/3 stuff, EVER.. so they were probably just another shooter.. Honestly, I've never even heard of Call of Duty until Modern Warfare 2.

As for the Fanboy thing, GET OVER IT.

I'm going to blantly ignore the obvious fanboyism. Seriously you listed

Lowered Jump Height
Lowered Walking Speed
Made the Banshee OP
Made the Vehicles less Powerful

as changes. If I was to dare list something like that in a significant change in a COD game you dumb ass Halo fanboys would laugh at me.

Check the Forums out, I'm sure somewhere there will be some threads. If you check out the Reach Forums you may have to wait, people are still complaining about Action Sack & BTB being removed, even though barley any people played them.

You could list some small COD Changes as well, I don't care, do whatever you want.

*EDIT - Here's a thread I just found on Bungie.net on why he thinks Reach Sucked, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] he has some of the things like Jump Height/Movement Speed (BTW, two days ago my friend and I were playing Reach and he wasn't a fan of the low speed/jump height either) and since the Original User was banned, look at the quote, it shows what he originally wrote.

I'm telling you, these small things do make a difference..

If I was to say from MW2 to Black Ops they changed;

- Allowed you to dolphin dive
- Lowered the ads on sleight of hand
- Made the M16 less OP
- Made the MP5 less OP
- Made the Ak74u more OP
- Added different pro perks
- Added more kill streaks
- GRENADES

You hypocritical Halo fanboys would say "ROLFOFLFOLFLOLOL YU KAL DEEZ CHANGES?!??!!?!? LMAOOOOO" And not jumping as high and running slower isn't what made Halo Reach that worse games in the series. Especially when they added armor abilities to compensate for it.

Certain things will make certain people mad, some people didn't like the Walking Speed/Movement, Banshee since people will get really high kill streaks in it, or didn't like the Paper Vehicles, the Vehicles are useless in Reach..

I don't really know why halo reach sucked so much, maybe it was the armor ability's or the poorly created maps. What ever it was it just didn't feel like halo. When I went to RTX and got to play halo 4 I instantly noticed that it had that classic halo feel with the more colorful maps and the return of the BR. It just plays more smoothly and seems faster instead of slow and annoying like reach was.
