Ok I took my PS3 apart yesterday too put some paste on the processors since the fans have been running a little hot and louder. When I was putting it back together I noticed that my Fan Connection on the board was missing. So i turned it on and sure enough the fans dont spin. Is there a way I could get these fans working again or is the destroyed?

You can it manually like i have it, i have a cord leading from the fan(modded myslef for a better more advanced system fan) i have it plugged into the back where the power cord goes. When the ps3 turns on, the fans spin, the ps3 turms off, then fans run for 10 minutes while power exits the ps3 to cool the fan faster
