Hey guys,

Just a short post with the question:

What do you like better? The modern game Skyrim or the classic Oblivion?

Also why do you like ____ better?

Personally i think Oblivion is much better. I have played oblivion a lot and have got into it while completing it numerous times with different characters. I have played skyrim and was looking forward to it coming out but it just disappointed me and i never got into the game. This is my opinion only and you do not have to agree with me. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

So the question is... What about you?

I think oblivion is better because skyrim just seems that they have tried too hard to introduce more things which has made the game less exciting for me. + i played oblivion through so many times and i have played skyrim through 4 times now and i am just bored :/ personally i think oblivion is better. However i obviously agree that graphics and game play wise skyrim has an advantage aha

Oblivion, difficult and developed. Skyrim was more noob friendly and the guilds disappointed me.

Yeah they are the same series but different games, set at a different time in history with a different story line made at a different time and has different features about it.

So this post is about comparing which is a better game about them both.

I hope now you understand what this post is all about.

Oblivion. I probably say that because I put wayyyy more hours into that game than I have Skyrim. The quests had better stories. Not only that but if you had it for PC the mods were the best. I played on both PC and Xbox.

probably skyrim, the guilds in oblivion were really good like i really enjoyed the fighters guild which i wish was in skyrim but i got bored of oblivion really quickly and ive gone through skyrim like 4 or 5 times now. coudve been because when i played oblivion, call of duty was all i really played, now i hate cod and only really play games like skyrim and fallout, and fifa really anymore and sometimes assasins creed.

gonna change when dishonored comes out, because that game looks amazing

Overall, Skyrim is better. But if we take it into catergories. Both games have their ups and downs. Example: Graphics goes to Skyrim. Storyline goes to Oblivion. What I am trying to say is. Both games are great and none of them are better then the other.

Oblivion hands down. It's probably the best game I've ever played for any console. The graphics were decent (nbd) and the game play was awesome. The bugs and AI fails made it hilarious. Over all, Skyrim wasn't bad, but Oblivion blows it out of the water.
