i just wanted to know what are some benefits of having a xdk over a jtag, because i have a xenon jtag and im not sure if i should make it into a dev-kit. also, if i have a dev-kit, will i be able to use programs like real time cod to send commands to the console?

There is more RAM, native memory editing, dvd drive emulation for debugging along with PIX support, etc..

**Basically unless you're going to be developing, stick with a jtag/rgh.

Yes your dvd drive will work. It will basically turn it into a dev kit, and dev kits are not bound to one dvd drive. You can hook up any dvd drive you want without having to flash it first.

Yes you can still system link, and yes it will work for real time cod.

1st you can not make your jtag into a xdk all you can do if a dev kernal sorry.
