Penn State receives a $60 million dollar sanction, a 4 year bowl ban, and vacates all wins dating to 1998.

Sandusky screwed over Paterno's great coaching career. He used to have the most wins in FBS history and now he's fifth all time. D:
They can also send only 65 scholarships as opposed to 85 scholarships.
But regardless of everything, the actions were fair tbh. Better than what people thought which was the school being banned from football programs for three years.

No, Paterno screwed over his own coaching career. He knew what Sandusky was doing and covered it up. Thats his own action.

I agree, its better too see that penn state isn't just totally being banned that would have upset a lot of people. The actions were just, in my honest opinion

Due to this, Bobby Bowden has become the all time win leader for coaches. .
But it's still very sad how something could have gone on like that and ruined a great coaches career.
