I need a new pc headset as the one i use at the moment is a old turtle beach for my xbox, i need one that looks nice and will do a good job in games, budget is around 150 pounds

Audio Technica AD700 with a Zalman ZM-1 mic. There's nothing better in the price range and these will outclass any headset marketed as "gaming."

hi if you are using old turtle beaches you might want to upgrade to the X12s. i currently us X11s with my laptop and it is really good quality

This is a bad recommendation, Turtle Beaches suck in comparison to real headphones.

I use my turtle beach x11's, but sennheiser makes great headphones too.
