I just got a pair of them after many people I know recommended them to me, and I think they sound pretty bad. Did I just get a bad pair that may be wired wrong or something or are they really not that good? They sound a bit distorted, and sounds from games like COD seem to all blend together. Anyone else have experience with these headphones?

I am fine with the sound. It is just that when I got them, my chat cable didn't even work. I could talk to people, but they couldn't hear me.
Don't give me that BS I was told before.
"Check your chat volume on your preferences or volume switch, and the game volume."
My controller did fall with the plug in it because I got up from my chair forgetting to take off the headset and the cord was yanked out of it. When I move the wire plugged into my controller closest to it, it makes a static noise. I don't know if it is my controller or cable, and I just got them when it broke, so stupid.
