THIS WILL TELL YOU EVERYTHING
STEP ONE
Fist thing is you have to find a slime chunk now this could be hard but ther is a great site called Mc Slimes(link is at the bottom)all you have to do is type the name of the seed that you want to find the slimes on and go to one of the coordinates that was listed on the graft pick one that is close to your home.
STEP TWO
dig all the way to bedrock and hallow out a space that is at least 16x16 but you should make it like 40x40 if you do say 16x16 your farm will not produce as many slimes then make the roof 3 to 4 blocks tall any shorter then 3 it will not produce big slimes
STEP THREE
Now that you have a good size room lite it up with torches or glowstone they both work just as good if you use glowstone don't put it on the floor as slimes can only spawn on natural blocks then make a easy way to get back to surfaces and make sure it is on easy normal or hard then give it like 5 minutes and check if any slimes have spawned it may take awhile for them to spawn so check like every 5 minutes.
STEP FOUR
This is not a required step but your farm will produce more slimes if you do make mutable floors until you hit 40 blocks above bedrock because they will not spawn above 40 blocks from bedrock

You got it from the wiki which is updated for 1.2.5.
The Xbox version is only 1.7.3 so your information is wrong.

You got it from the wiki which is updated for 1.2.5.
The Xbox version is only 1.7.3 so your information is wrong.
