I have been recieving emails for months from a guy named jagex ltd saying how i was temporarily banned from runescape. But the wierd thing is ive never played it in my life. Today its got me worried because of whatever my "Runescape" account was doing was going to be put to lawsuit. I dont know what to do especially since ive never played.

Hi,
Please do not fear. These are simply phishing emails. The sender of them buys or harvests thousands (if not 100,000's) of emails and mass sends the same email. There are many people that do this. The aim of this is to eventually get someone with a RuneScape account to click the link and sign in.
Although the email states it is from Jagex, they are just using a PHP script to change who it looks like it was sent from - there is no real authority behind the emails. If you view the email headers you will see this. If you are really worried about this issue (which you should not be) you can ring Jagex or email them at parents @ jagex.com. They are quite responsive.
Here's half a page (I have dozens of pages) of my emails from 'runescape' and 'jagex'

Thanks it is in the junk folder too i just had to know when it said lawsuit plus they spelled lawsuit wrong anyway lol lawsuite
