That will be your best choice. Not sure why he thinks you won't be able to play the latest games at high settings, that will easily do it for you.

ye right ....................

They would if you have one screen and maybe know a little bit of what you're talking about.

ollie652 wrote i want a GPU that can play all the latest games in high settings not ultra high, also to be able to watch online and edit movies.

Am willing to pay 50 - 180 GBP

Thanks.

That is not gonna happen.

Why ?

Thats a low budget. Up it a little and maybe.
For that budget? That exceeds WELL over the amount he needs. For 80 GBP he can get an HD 6850 which can play most games on high or a HD 7870 for around 180 GBP. So HOW is it not enough?

oh man! for 180 pounds you should be able to get really god GPU's here are your best bets but also remember that your PSU needs to be powerful enough so that the graphic card works at its full potential, i would reccomand a PSU between 600-700 watts, if you one day plan on buying 400-500 pound GPU'S then you need to get 800 watts but for now 600-700w will do fine, here are those GPU's, it will run on games on high not ultra but in a year maybe medium

NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti.

It's one of the best for it's price. Get it from ebuyer and you'll save yourself some good money.

That or the 480.

The 7770 is a better card than the 550 Ti and the 480... Well... Let's just say it's a little bit too hot and a little bit too power-hungry. It only barely edges the 560 Ti, but it's not worth the hassle.

The 7850 is the absolute best you can do with 180GBP, its an amazing card for the price and will have no problem with all the latest games. Overclocked its as fast as a GTX 580
