I completely disagree, it's a new start to CoD everyone complained for it being the same over and over, now it's new and different. And people still complain now.
And there is no god damn space ponies or laser guns. Just because it has future doesn't mean there are laser guns. Also, it's only 2025, stuff in the game are real and are being developed right now. To me this ain't no space game. Halo was in freakin like 8978067 blah blah blah. Also Mw2 and Mw3 were in the future.... I believe MW3 was way after 2025.

Hmm, although it is set in the future it is only 13 years away. There isn't anything as sci fi as laser guns, and the horses were just plain horses...
The closest we have to laser guns in the Ray Gun from Zombies.
They have kept the technology at a believable level, so it wont have crazy technology. Treyarch are good with research so I trust all the futuristic items will have an explanation of it's creation to go with it somewhere along the lines.
I myself have been playing Call of Duty since Modern Warfare, and Black Ops is the only one that I truly enjoyed so I myself am looking forward to Black Ops 2.

Personally, I believe that treyarch has done a better job with Call of Duty than Infinity Ward because when I put MW3 in my disc tray and start playing, I can only play for about ten minutes then I get bored, but when I put Black Ops in, I stay on all night. I'm not saying that Black Ops is better than MW3 or MW2 but in my opinion, which nobody cares a about, Black ops is more playable than the Modern Warfare Series.

The devs are just experimenting. I don't want the same old COD with new guns and additions, I want the feeling of a brand new game.
