I've Seen People Saying They Redeemed There 48 Hour Codes & Its Not Letting Them Play Online & Join Parties .
Is This True ?

Well the question is, where are these people getting the codes from? and I may have the answer to your question.

Pretty much everybody gets their codes from the glitch were you create a new account with the locale set to Japan and there's some game that give a 48 hour code...

yeah thats happening to me i put a 48hr trial and it says this profile cant play xbox live
