hi do you think i could drink (alcohol) in a pub at 17 one of my friends is 18 so if he bought the drink would there be a problem thanks

i have, if you look 18 and sit with friends (you dont go to the bar and order drinks) then you can get away with it.

Also acting mature helps.

You can't buy it, but yeah you can drink it, as long as you act cool about it.. Helps to look close to 18 as well. If you get ID'd you're done mate.

Actually, in England I think kids can drink if their parents buy the alcohol and allow them to drink but I am not sure if this is allowed in a pub.

as everyone said just sit with ur friends and let them buy ur drinks and act mature and just relax.

me and a few of my friend went it a shop to get some drink and they wouldn't serve me friend because we didn't have ID'd even though he did and it was him buying it lol

Of course it's illegal, but yeah just get your friends to buy the drinks and don't act suspicious.
