Everyone is saying that Jagex Was hacked.
Which is very untrue. the combat update is going public today. Thats why the servers are down.

My bets are going either towards hacked or the CoE serves are begin TAKEN DOWN. That's all that I've heard.

No, the combat update is not going public today, last time I tried logging in to the beta the other day (while not being invited) it said I have to wait until the 6th of July, I don't know if that's when it's released or if it's when the Beta is open to every member.
