I guess its XB1000 or PRO900 now. Need to do some more homework on the XB1000s.


That'd make sense since they have literally no way of sealing.

I know absolutely nothing about the XB1000, but just seeing them makes me want one. I really wouldn't pay more than $200 for them though. Used would be smarter too.

For both of you, the AKG K181 would be a great option. I wouldn't go for the Sony V55 since Sony tends to suck with any of their headphones priced under $150. The XB series is the only exception that I'm aware of.

I'd get the Koss DJ100. They're pretty neutral, so they'll handle whatever you throw at them. They're also pretty good portable cans. Great sound for the price, especially now that they're only $55 on Amazon.
