I Have really bad RAM for what i am trying to do and i need to know if i can just buy any RAM card for my Laptop and install it or do i need a certain brand or model or something like that? Thanks Guys!

It does depend on the laptop. Usually if you go to the manufacturers website and under specifications it should tell you. No, you can't just pick up any RAM off of the shelf and try to slap it in there because you'd end up screwing something up. It has to be a SO-DIMM module. But many things factor in, like how many slots are open, speeds the board can handle, memory interface, etc.
