Is there anything stopping Bethesda from just taking the mods from skyrim nexus or steam and making them official DLC for consoles? Many of the mods have been ported and are easily ported. Except for the obvious HD textures that can't of course.

Constant DLC and updates cannot happen. So no, and Microsoft is against any form of modifications even though they are not bad.. So just get a JTAG, it can run the PC mods if you add the things right.

Yeah, true. But it wouldn't need to be constant. But I am running mods on my JTAG it's just a pain sometimes.

That was one thing that Bethesda was trying to do when creating the game. however they couldnt becuase of the security issues with people downloading mods that are infected with viruses and or malicious code. So becasue of that they couldnt risk it. but they are trying to make them available in the future for future games but not current

Yeah, true. But it wouldn't need to be constant. But I am running mods on my JTAG it's just a pain sometimes.

Adding DLC takes a month to go through with MS to put up and updates even longer. It would not be easy. Anyway so many mods out there. If they made one where it added the mods for you it would need to be on the market place. Which should be free but MS may make them charge.
