I7-2600k will perform like a champ and is the best you can get for $300. 8 threads with 4 hyper-threading cores that your programs will utilize and benefit from. Huge overclocking potential.

Dead silent NH-D14 after-market heatsink. It's the best air cooler out there next to the Phanteks series. Will allow for major overclocking options.

EVGA GTX 560 TI - great warranty and will easily play all the games you listed at above normal resolutions like 2560 x 1440. An alternative would be a 2GB 7850.

1TB Seagate for storage + 256gb Crucial SSD so everything you load on this drive will boot significantly faster and not lock up / freeze as often. I'd recommend storing Windows / AV / games + most used applications on it.

8GB kit of Corsair RAM is pretty straight forward. Perfect voltage for Sandy Bridge and is a low profile kit. Unless you're doing something out of the norm, this will be more than enough.

ASRock board - Asus' sister company but with better prices. Pure black PCB with gold caps and true SLI/CF compatibility + nice VRM heatsinks and respectable power phase to assist in overclocking.

750w XfX PSU will handle SLI'd 560 ti's fine with 4 x 6+2 pins. Quality unit with rock solid reliability.

Cases are completely up to personal preference - I just chucked in the R3 XL since it's well...huge for one and has sound dampening material on the inner side panels and covers. Good full tower alternatives would be Storm Trooper / 932 / HAF-X / 800D ( overpriced for what it is ) / Shinobi XL / Silverstone Raven.

Catleap monitor. Korean monitor, yes - but it's too good of a deal to pass up. Same resolution of Dell Ultrasharps and 27'' iMacs for a third of the price. Insanely high resolution. Check out this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for more information.

Hey root BEER. My budget is probably around $850, and I need a good laptop that will last me a long time and that has a USB 3.0, and preferably high memory/space. Whatever I'm not a computer guy.

Overclocker, Generation, and Intel_2500K are too. Don't give me all the credit, especially for this topic. Glad you appreciate what we do, though!

Same here, we can't remind you guys enough to wait until you're actually about to order. We're not here to give you a build to test the waters, we're here to give you something we're assuming you're buying within a few days. If you're not actually going to buy in a few days, don't post. If you're curious what your budget can get you, look through the thread. I'm confident you'll find something similar or even identical if you're not after something very unique like a specialty build or VERY big-budget build.
