I'm new to this "Minecraft" thing, and have only played it on xbox 360. I was wondering, (And this is a noob question) if Minecraft is free for computers. If not, is there a free version you can get from someone else?

The official version is 20 dollars. You can get it at minecraft.net. You can download cracked versions off of google for free. The only problem is that as of April this year cracked minecraft is basically illegal. Any cracked servers are illegal now.
