ummm, No i completely disagree with your critcism Part...
(correction when you don't know how to use cinema 4d Correctly...)

For example:(just something basic made awhile ago.


Tips, you need to work on better lighting and as a beginner i highly reccomend you get a lightroom, Also No floor is need i honestly think if you set the Render option to alpha channel and it was centered text though you added nothing, To it effect wise it would still atleast look a bit better. You should aldo get into using slightly Cleaner fonts, some popular ones are Lobster1.4 and Bebas. (though Overused) You should Look up some tutorials on good Styles you could follow up your C4d work, and then work from there to experiment and create your own. Hope this helped
