Hey guys i have been watching a lot of scary movies lately (i have no idea why i jsut have) anyways i have been trying to figure out what are some key things that make it good and things that make it bad. so i thought i would ask some other movie lover on their views
1 thing i notice was that if the item that makes it scary is something that everyone does the scarier it becomes.

Things popping out is a big one. Causing a sense of relief, only to destroy your calm with something to almost make your heart stop. Camera angles do bits of work too and can't forget a compelling evil.
