I haven't been able to find a method to fix this but,

I am copying a game to my hdd and the game recieves a disc unreadable error. The game itself works fine and I tried re-copying it but nothing seems to be working. The game is skyrim btw.

Most times its a case of the laser being faulty, you can try tweaking the pot.

this works most of the time, if not get yourelf a new laser and install it

here is a guide, couldnt find one on ttg.. anyway..
