I opened up a elite jasper today this system has no power; power supply says green... i know commonly the pins in the usb port usually touch the chassis and short but this one looks fine by me.

Anyone have any suggestions, i have test standby power on bottom and am not getting 5v signal

thanks

EDIT: repaired this one, thanks for comments

check the power connecter and is it our of the chassis take it out and take off the xclamps in case they are touching a resistor and just set the heat sinks on top of the console to see if it will boot

sorted it, i usually throws these in the junk pile but since it was a jasper i wanted to try a few things, it did infact lead back to a faulty Power Port.. luckily i had a few dead jaspers to use them as scrap.

Replaced the power port and all is well... 7371 dash aswell that makes 2 today yay

If your not getting 5v standby power near the port... replace it. Hot air gun made it simple to get off.. after adding some solder it will drop right out at at 300c with flux
