well i wouldn't agree with the pc pricing you stated cause you can build a pc at average gaming for around 400+ dollars.also how do i know because i built mine.

its still alot more expensive then most people are willing to go.

take this into consideration, most people that play xbox are like 11 or their casual gamers that get on a few times a week

i also tried to get into PC gaming (Seems more fun and fast paced)

and it totaled to like $578 and i was like NOPE!

well i can agree with you there before at about how people drift towards the one that looks more cheaper but the thing is that people should look into more than just the cost of the item itself but for what else they are also going to need with that item like how you got to pay monthly it's pretty expensive and with the grand total of the equipment that people use with the console alone is very close to how much it cost for an average pc and not to mention games on pc are cheaper than games on xbox as well and there deals are way better to.for example on steam i bought 30-40 games ranging between 5-40 dollars at the time and i bought all those games for around 80 dollars it's a pretty sweet deal and from what i remember was that the cost for each item being separate i believe totaled at around 200 dollars.

Primarilly 12 year olds play xbox these days.

I play it for pure entertainment. I dont mod and i barely play online but i still use the console to its full potential. I like the point of playing games offline such as assasins creed and dragon age. even though i dont rank up on online leaderboards i find it exteremely fun.

I also have a competetive side to me that drives me to play online sometimes. Having a
kd of over 5.0 in most games is also pretty good. I dont have gold membership any more though
