Okay heres what i have done so far. Im using my homemade lpt cable instead of nandx. Ive dumped the nand 3 times getting 3 exact images. I then proceeded to write Xell back to the board. I unplugged the lpt after that completed and turned on the xbox like a tut i was following said to do. On the screen of my tv appeared the e79 error code.

What im not sure is if i need to have the Jtag wires already soldered to the board before i turn the xbox on to boot Xell or not? Could someone clear up this issue im having? Thanks, hopefully will get a quick responce!

How did you compare your nanddumps, did it show bad blocks?

Please post Images of install.

I compared the nanddumps through jtag tool, under compare. It said found 0 - nonmatching blocks.
The install of what, my lpt cable?

You should use Jrunner, i cant push this enough it does everything it should and it stays up to date.

Secondly, Post Images of you Jtag Install, Helps us rule out the obvious...

Does the Jtag Install have to be done in order to boot Xell? That could be my problem. I have yet to install the Jtag wires as every tutorial ive looked at never stated this had to be in place yet.

Okay Thanks! So the Jtag Install has to be connected just to boot Xell? I need to boot Xell, to get the CPU Key so i can write my Freeboot Image to the board.

I know i shouldnt be on the other Modding Website Se7 but thats where I was following a tutorial, that stated the Jtag Connections did not need to be in place to retrieve the CPU Key from Xell.
Thanks for your help so far Mafia5k

I keep my jtag wires installed even before installing xell..

Most jtag wiring should allow for stock image to boot with them in place, i just wire it all up, install xell and you should get green lights.

Post your results aswell this could help someone in the future.
