Skyrim, GTA (obviously) Max Payne 3, Godfather the first one is a good game also.
There is plenty, I agree multiplayer is boring especially FPS.

Skyrim or The Witcher 2. They are both great games. Based on reviews by other people, The Witcher 2 is better than Skyrim at all of it's components EXCEPT the massive amount of places to explore. Also, if you beat The Witcher 2, it has another disc that adds another 4-5 hours of gameplay. Skyrim provides you with over 200 hours of gameplay, etc.
