I personally prefer turtle beach to trittons, the X12's are really comfortable and have a cool feature.. the bass boost . I have been using turtle beaches for 4 years now and have had no problems, or no breakages.

Personally i would recommend Trittons.
I personally have had Turtle Beach and now currently have Tritton's AX Pro.
Turtle Beach are built cheap, they break very easy.
I have dropped my trittons a few times and they are still in mint condition.
The sound quality is awesome. Look for reviews on the internet, then decide yourself.

In my opinion I would go for Turtle Beaches! I have both but I had my mic on my tritton and it stopped working randomly!

You made a good choice. I owned both and personally like turtle beach alot more better. For a true opinion though wait save up and get a pair of astros beat both of them by a long shot. My trittons have cheap plastic build while the astros have better quality then turtle beach. Other then that in my opinion with build quality and quality of mic in order is Astro a40 turtle beach x41 then tritton ax pros
