I already own Minecraft for my computer, and got it for only $13 while it was still in alpha. It's runs very well on my computer and I have no issues, but I would like to get it for Xbox too. Is it really worth it for me? I mean, $20 for a downgraded version of Minecraft with world limitations (I know they need to have these limitations due to the fact it's on an Xbox, but still). Does anyone know of any dates it will be on sale? $20 is a little pricey for the state it's in. Also, does anyone know when it will start being updated? 1.7.3 would be nice, the introduction of pistons adds a whole new array of redstone devices.

Thank you to anyone that can help me out.

I own both, but I would say that it is worth it if your computer can't handle the computer version. My laptop runs minecraft fine, but I decided to get it for the xbox for some odd reason. Once the updates start hitting the xbox version, it's gonna be pretty nice. I also find it pretty nice to chat with friends in the party and being able to host your own game.

I think the controls are easier on Xbox, mostly because I have used the Xbox controller for years and didn't have muh computer version experience.
I say it is well worth it considering it will be updated!

I see what you're saying, I think I'll get it. I may need to wait for some of the better updates, but in the end it will probably be worth it. Thanks so much for the help!
