I see a lot of people saying the insurance would be sky high, but many people are just getting insured from their parents insurance company, its a load cheaper.

Here in the US we have all different kind of laws. Some states its 16 some its 15, Wyoming i think is 14 Years old to get a license. In some states you get a restricted license (no friends in car) until your 18. Insurance is expensive here too. im 21 and drive a low risk car. 95 USD a month.

Wtf? There are loads of mature people born in 1996+... the government obviously dont know much about the country, they just go by a small number of immature teens...

Bad idea, it would cause more accidents and deaths and insurance would be stupidly expensive.

I'm 17, in the UK, and can drive.

I don't agree with this (I would say this though), but I also don't think it will happen. If anything, I think it will be increased to 18 (hope it is!) haha.
