I just bought this for college and gaming do you think this was a good choice?

And could this run COD and Diabolo 3?

Ouch, 2.4Ghz processor? I'd reconsider that, if you're going to use this PC for gaming.

ya youd have to overclock your processor to at least 3.0 GHz if you want to play a game smoothly on a lower level.

It's a laptop, so the CPU is locked at that frequency, and there is no way to overclock it without burning it up.

So could I run like mw2 on medium settings and still be good or not?

Medium settings? You'll probably notice some FPS lag when you have explosions going on around you. You'll be better off playing on low settings.

You should have waited for our responses prior to purchasing the processor else I don't really see why you even posted this thread..
