Would this run minecraft and cod waw?
I have a Dell Dimension 3100 running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and 3GB's RAM.

I need a graphics card but only have 2 pci slots and one pcie x1 slot.

So I was thinking of buying the pcie x1 to x16 adapter and putting this card in - geforce 8400gs

I know it will only run at the pcie x1 speed but I just want to play minecraft and cod waw custom map zombies with my friend.

My budget is only 35-40

I have a similar setup and I use minecraft on it. It can run quite slow but youll find downloading software to help speed it up (e.g. game booster) could be really beneficial

Well, I have a PC with 3GB ram, and I have a 30-40 pound graphics card, and it can barley run any games. It can run minecraft but it always lags.. and for WAW I can only play it on the lowest settings available.

P.S Minecraft doesn't run on your graphics card it runs on java. it's performance relies on the amount of ram you have on your PC so the higher you have the better it will run.
