The first one is fantastic, there is almost nothing wrong with it besides the "I" of the text in the bottom middle, I don't like how that connects the top words, but that's just me.

The second one looks a little bit more rushed. His eyes look a little bit too wide, I think making his eyes a tad bit more closed would make it look more realistic. His mouth also looks a little funny, his lips might be a little too thin. He also seems to be leanign at a bit of an awkward angle, but it might just be me.

Also the tattoo right below his wrist seems to be really uneven, idk if you meant for it to be like that or not. The text looks awesome on both pieces.

Overall this is probably close to if not the best pen-tooling I've ever seen. Glad to have you here and excellent, clean, designs.
