hey guys im looking for a pc that would be good for gaming, but not too expensive.
is there any way i could get a good gaming and multitasking pc for somewhere in the 600$-900$ range?

Yes, $600 - $900 is a realistic budget. Custom builds usually start off around $600, but it's not a powerhouse...but it does get the job done.
Something like this would be nice. You can multitask and game all you want with a OC'd 2500k and a 64gb Crucial SSD.

$895.90 with a monitor included. You could drop the monitor and replace the 6870 with a 7950 or grab a 128gb SSD. For storage, re-use and re-format the HDD you're using now since there would be zero difference if you spent unneeded money on a $80 storage drive.
You're open to many options with this build.
