Dubstep has been around since about 2000, and it originated from D&B which started in the early 1900's.
Skrillex is electro/trance, and hes good, just because hes famous doesn't change how good he is/how he sounds, thats called being a stupid hipster.

Hes far from the best electo/trance artist out, but I wouldn't go as far as to say hes bad.
