At the risk of teaching people to suck eggs, though I seriously doubt anyone actually falls for it, these threads are all scams.
They will tell you to buy a certain kit/badge for a price, and that it quick sells for much more than you paid for it.
In reality, the poster has just bought several of the items cheap and wants to sucker people into paying thousands for a card that quick sells for 60 coins or so.
Don't fall for it, and laugh at them when they're stuck with loads of useless cards they can't sell.
Oh, and don't believe stories that they can somehow 'mod' the cards so that they quick sell for thousands, they can't.
