Go with an i3-2100 / i5-2500k. AMD'x FX line is complete garbage. For one, they lose in benchmarks compared to their old AM3 chips and get squashed by an i3-2100 and their highest end 8120 gets humiliated by the best-bang-for-your-buck CPU..the 2500k. The 560 is a nice card that should be able to run BF3 at low-medium settings @ 1080p with playable FPS. Unless you have a really good AMP and headset, and the sound card its-self is not some cheapo $30 that has the same quality as THX on-board, I'd say drop it. There are a ton of driver issues as well, or so I heard. In order to tell you that this is a build that will / will not be compatible, please list all your other specifications, especially PSU since that is the main part of your system that you can't cheap out on.

It's with a 560 ti, but there is a very marginal difference. Medium is almost a guarantee.

im getting a CiT 700w psu

Full specs are ive changed them to suite the 2500k

Your grahics card could only play BF3 on medium settings. I would suggest getting the GTX 570 and overclocking it or the GTX 580.

The GTX 560 could max Battlefield 3, you would only be getting around 35fps but it is still very playable.

@OP Out of interest what case will you be getting? I would recommend the Corsair Carbide 500R or the Corsair Graphite 600T if you have a little more money to spare.

You should get all the wires you need with the PSU, and on the subject of the PSU, I wouldn't skimp out on it as it will come around and bite you in a couple of months if it happens to go wrong, I would stick to brands like Corsair, OCZ, Silverstone, Antec or XFX.

600w should be more than enough to cover your build, and you will probably want a modular PSU, as it will make cable management a lot simpler.

He has the 560, not the ti. But without antialiasing you should get around 40 FPS at High. And If you have a microcenter near you they have 2600k's for 200$ plus 50$ off a motherboard. No need for a sound card, unless you are a DJ.

Buying an OZX PSU is sort of skimping out on the PSU. You could get much better, reliable PSU's in the same or lower price range with a lot better positive reviews and customer service.
