Well i installed DLink Wireless PCI that goes up 300 Mbps and when i go to network and sharing centre im onnly on 58Mbps. Is this bad? Do i need to buya new router?

I know that but i found my self lagging on bf3 when be4 when i was playing with wifi usb dongle. My router is 3 years old and is a stock standed one from my internet provider is it time to upgrade?

Going up to those speeds depends on your router. A dual band router is needed to reach those speeds with a 5Ghz signal.

With a combo of your network card and a 5Ghz signal, only then will you go above 150Mps which I believe is the limit for a 2.4Ghz signal.
