the ratings of players that have performed terrifically this season is an absolute disgrace, how is the likes of andy carrol an 81 when strikers like grant holt danny graham and rickie lambert fall into the 70s, and how are norwich and swansea rated worse than qpr look at the table and see the difference the fact of the matter is EA are too scared to upgrade unfancied players and overrate big names far too easily, anyone else agree with this?

Yes exactly, Norwich have low 70 and 60 rated players yet we are doing fantastic this season, yet like you say Carroll is rated 81 and he is terrible, Grant Holt scored more goals then Carroll, Torres and Drogba put together this season and he cost 1086000 less.
Swansea as well, they have been doing great this season with a great home record, I don't know too much about them as I don't them as much but I know they have done very well this season

exactly! beating spurs today just shows how much we can compete with these teams with high 80 players and IMO grant holt could have easily had 2 informs this year, also being a season ticket holder we actually play football up to the standard of top tier teams at times and swansea just play amazing football EA need to sort it out

They can't predict the future. They put the stats of the promoted teams to what they think they can contend with in the BPL. The season has turned out very well for Norwich and Swansea, but they couldn't have guessed that? So the reason they're so low is because they're newly promoted teams. Now, the reason they wont fix the problem is because it gives them something to do for the next game. I completely agree that the likes of Carroll should be about 78 and Torres should be about 82-83, agreeably Holt and Graham have played well this season, but we'll see how good they play next season before making assumptions on how good they are.

The football we play is excellent, I know it was a while ago but the Arsenal game, we may have lost 2-1 but we put up a good fight, we scored first and only reason we lost really was because RVP is a monster.
Chelsea game, 0-0 Ruddy great save against Torres got an IF, we stopped them completely and was a great result. Man U game(s) we lost both, BUT we played very well against them.
I am interested in seeing what we can do against City next

If they were to update teams mid-way through the season, what would be the point of releasing a new game? And for EA it gives them an excuse to see someone has quality. Look at Aaron Ramsey, he's played very good for the past two seasons and he is still 77 Overall, I mean WTF? There is no way in hell Carroll is better than Ramsey.

totally agree with this mate! it seems like there too scared to put previous good players ratings down when they've done poor all season and for a while and other players who have been consistently good but who aren't classed as good players by other people are singled out! ea need to sort it out.

also players who play for good teams but aren't amazing players get higher rating because of the team they play for, like iker casillas is a good keeper but overrated in my opinion because keepers like szczesny, krul and vorm are all class!
