hey guys

i got a new laptop last wk and im pleased with it
its the toshiba sattelite c660 pro edition on windows 7 pro edition
but ive found a problem and was wondering if any one has the soultion
i do a lot of skype video calls to family abroad and require external speakers
but the computer has only one jack to plug the speaker jack into this is fine but when i plug my speakers in the mircophone thinks that the speakers are a microphone and im unable to be heard its fine when im watching youtube videos and stuff but it wont work on video calls please help ttg

The output(speaker) is really input(mic)?
You can try USB speakers.
Go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording tab.
Plug your speakers in and if they show up there, right-click on them and press Disable.

OnlyHax is right, try External USB speakers. If they don't work, return them.
