You do know that you dont need any special software to write JavaScript. All you need is a plain text editor and a web browser.

Yea, i know. I've been using Notepad so far. I just wanted something where i can check my work freely with out having to go to the web or opining my web browser.

Adobe Dreamweaver. You can get a torrent for that at thetechgame.org. Its virus free.

I would use Adobe Dreamweaver or Notepad++

Dreamweaver supplies you all the codes at your finger tips, and Notepad++ is very simple and neat to use.
