A while back, I tried updating the dash on my jtag (zephyr) and it got the E79 error message and I cant boot xell... Anyone have any ideas whats wrong with it??

& tell me how you tried to update the Jtag.

if you did it by the retail update, you have Bricked your console.

No I did something really stupid, I cant remember...
I dont think I tryed the retail update tho.

chances are you had bad blocks or a different smc config, hope you saved a backup....

this may not be the case but in some cases jtag wiring has came loose causing E79 but chances are yours is software related

no he didn't i did that with my xenon just you need the original nand and your good :p
